Der an der TU Graz tätige Wissenschafter verrät über seinen Vortrag mit dem Titel "Towards restoration of hand and arm function in high spinal cord injury: a non-invasive BCI approach" vorab:
„Brain-Computer Interfaces are systems to provide a means for control or communication for people with severe motor disabilities. In this talk, non-invasive BCIs for the control of motor neuroprosthesis for the restoration of the hand function in high spinal cord injury will be discussed. After a brief intro and historical review, mainly the results from the EU H2020 project MoreGrasp will be presented.
Furthermore, I present first results of the ERC Consolidator Grant Feel Your Reach on how to get control of a robotic arm. Basic studies applied in healhty are the main work here. An outlook will summarize the talk.“
